Imagine … You are in a mountain hut, far from the crowds and the screens, but having insightful discussions with people from your professional community… A source of inspiration and energy ! We call it hutworking.

Participants requirements :
– an excellent skiing level in all snow conditions
– a very good physical shape (regular runner / hiker / swimmer)
– an extensive mountain sports insurance and rescue coverage (example: rega.ch)
– participants will be asked to sign a liability waiver

“A huge thanks to Jean-Christian (JC). You kept us safe. You kept us organised. Even entertained us with your geology side hustle. Your mountain knowledge was awesome. Took incredible photos. And generally just being a nice guy to be around! If you ever need a career hedge or plan B in life, you’ve got yours right there.” – Jakob Bloch
“What made it even more special: every single one of us works in the profession of Risk-Taking — the energy markets. Assessing volatility, managing exposure, reading signals early. In many ways, the mountains are a powerful parallel: conditions change fast, decisions matter, preparation is everything.” – Theresa Kammel
“What a privilege to be part of this first ‘hutworking’ event! Skiing in the backcountry was fun, challenging, and uplifting. Most importantly, it was great to connect with people from the energy industry who share the same passion for the mountains and nature. Thank you, JC, for guiding us and keeping us safe at all times. It was simply awesome.” – Valerio Bosa
“Combining the useful with the enjoyable. It was a real pleasure to be part of this inspiring initiative: a few days in the mountains, away from the markets and daily routines, bringing together Commodities experts with wideangle perspectives. Fresh air, meaningful discussions, new ideas, skiing, and even some muscle building along the way — the perfect balance between reflection, exchange, and energy.” – Guillaume Schmitt
